Below please book a time to transition to Windows 10. During this time we will be backing up your files and transitioning them to a Windows 10 hard drive. For now we are only opening up June and July for appointments, once all slots are filled we will open up August. Please note that you do not have to provide your mobile number, it is only a feature that will send you text reminders of your appointment.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Windows 10 deployment. My transition was also from a Surface to an HP laptop, so there was an added complicating factor. However, it was smooth and quicker than anticipated!

Transition went OK. It took 2:45 minutes because of problems with video card (apparently). No licenses were provided for the Adobe suite and these will expire this Wednesday.
I would also instruct the students making these exchanges, to dress appropriately. One of the students when he bent over showed his backside. They need to dress appropriately in a professional environment.

Joe was great to work with and helpful. The only issues are the printer occasionally defaulting to LLRC038 and the email attachment problem. My issue seems to be with permissions for Word documents.

My experience with the hard drive replacement was abysmal. I had a meeting at the end of the replacement so I couldn't be there for the end of the process and the files in my documents were not there when I returned.
Also, a majority of my desktop files were missing. The techs had to come to my office twice that day and I didn't get a solid answer about when I could expect all the files back until the following day.
Techs were always respectful but the errors overshadowed their manners.

Just wanted to thank Kirby (Motherboard student worker) who helped me transition from a desktop unit to a laptop unit. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the process and walked me through each step of the process. He was courteous and followed up on a program that was not able to transfer from the desktop unit to the laptop unit. Great service from this young man...very impressed with his help today.

The student workers doing the transition were SUPER! They were very well organized and informative. It was a seamless process. However, I do wish that more docking stations and 10-key pads had been ordered before the transition started so we could have those at the same time. As I worked with my new computer in the afternoon, I had several questions relating to where to find things to re-customize my setup, and had to call Bri several times. She was very patient and good humored, and very helpful.
